Welcome to J. B. Tyrrell Senior Public School. 

We are a Grade 7 and 8 school where students are challenged and supported to reach their true potential through a combination of academics, co-curricular activities and field trips.

The students are respectful, kind, and conscientious, and the staff is caring, positive, and hard-working. The staff, students and parents working together ensure that our school is an amazing place to be!

We are very proud of our students in all of our programs:  Regular and Gifted.  

Many former students return to JBT and tell us about how important their years at JBT were for their character development.  They not only learned the curriculum, they also learned a great deal about themselves.

J. B. Tyrrell is truly a remarkable school, and I am proud and honoured to be the principal here.
