In the regular program, students will learn: English, French, History, Geography, Art, Music, Family Studies, Math, Science and Technology, Drama, Dance, Health and Physical Education. 

Gifted education is a broad group of special practices, procedures, and theories used in the education of children who have been identified as gifted. At JB Tyrrell we have 4 gifted classes (2 for each grade) who follow the regular Ontario curriculum, but are more challenged in language and mathematics. You can only join our gifted program if you have been tested and certified as a gifted student. Our gifted feeder school is Fairglen Jr. P.S.
