We hope you have had a fun and restorative summer vacation. We look forward to welcoming you back to school soon. Please review the following information to ensure a smooth transition back to school in September.

Student Timetables

Your timetable for the 2023/2024 school year will be made available in the TDSB Connects App during the week of August 28th. Please consider this timetable tentative as we continue to make adjustments to balance class sizes and it may be necessary to move courses. Please ensure that you check the TDSB Connects app on the first day of school for your most up-to-date timetable.

Please note:

1. All Grade 9 and 10 students should have 8 courses listed. If you are in Grade 9 or 10 and have received an incomplete timetable, please contact your guidance counsellor by email.
2. If you are in Grade 11 and have received an incomplete timetable (ex. there are only 7 courses listed and you did not choose a spare), please contact your guidance counsellor by email.

2. If you wish to request a timetable change, please do so using the following form:
   • Malvern Guidance – Course Change Request Form – please note the criteria for a timetable change in the form, and that these requests cannot be guaranteed.
   • Due to space constraints, you may not have received your first choice of elective courses. If you have been scheduled into one of your alternate course requests, a timetable change is not required.

3. If you submit a course change request via the form, you must attend the classes you are currently enrolled in until you have received notification from your guidance counsellor that the requested change has been made.

4. Our ability to make timetable table changes is very limited. Please note that a variety of Grade 11/12 TDSB eLearning Courses are available during both Semester 1 and Semester 2. Registration information for Semester 1 eLearning will be available at the link above in the coming days so please continue to check the website if you are interested in registering for an eLearning course.

5. Guidance counsellors process a very high volume of emails during the beginning of the school year. If you have submitted a course request via the Course Change Request Form, please do not duplicate the request or follow it up with an email. We will get back to you as soon as we can, and your patience is appreciated.
