Cafeteria Makeover

It is with great excitement and anticipation that we formally launch a new approach to our annual Red & Black fundraising campaign for the 2023-2024 school year. This year the parent council has followed the lead of the student body and voted in favour of donating all funds raised from the Red & Black Fundraiser to a single legacy project: The Cafeteria Makeover! This project encompasses a full makeover of this unique and large space that is used daily by the student body. It is a revitalization strongly supported by both students and staff alike and we are so excited to be a part of this significant school improvement endeavour.

This venture has been spearheaded by the administration and is being financed by both the school and parent council. It carries with it a large projected budget of $60000 with a longterm end goal of three to four years. Steps have already been taken, however, with new furniture arriving as early as January!

The council has budgeted $15000 for this year to help contribute to this cause but we need your help to reach this financial goal. With some funds already set aside, our hope is to amass an additional $7000 to make our goal a reality.

School improvements such as these are not only deeply impactful to our current student body but have longterm enjoyment for the future generations of Malvernites. By contributing to this outstanding project led by student input, we send the message to our children that we are invested in their community, their enjoyment at school, and the betterment of their academic and social experiences, in all their forms.

All Donations will be issued a tax receipt.
