Peer Tutoring:

Free tutoring is available to students who need help in any subject. The Guidance office coordinates tutoring with the Mowat Peer Tutors. Book an appointment with Mrs. Milenkovski for more information.

Course Load:

All students at Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate must be full time. Grade 9, 10 and 11 students must attend and be registered in 8 courses. A student can take 6 courses if he/she has 24 credits. A student can take 7 course if he/she has 23 credits.

Full Disclosure:

All grade 11 and 12 courses are subject to the policy of full disclosure as outlined by the Ministry of Education. Full disclosure for semestered Functions (MHF4UP) and French (FSF3UP) begins 5 days after the November report card is issued. For all other courses, full disclosure is 5 days after the April report card is issued.

Optional Attendance:

Any student who wishes to attend another secondary school next year must see a guidance counselor prior to February, as spaces at other schools are limited. Once a student attends another secondary school, he/she will not be permitted to return to Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate, as per the optional attendance policy for closed schools in the Toronto District School Board.
