Sir William Osler High School's DD Program is highly supportive and student centered. Students in the program are provided with authentic learning opportunities to work towards independence. The program focuses on enhancing practical life skills by further developing daily living skills & social skills through in-school experiential learning opportunities and exploration of Global Competencies.
Students have the opportunity to stay in the same classroom program with staff they are familiar with for their entire time at Osler, if this is beneficial to them. With support, students also have the opportunity to transition to other classroom programs if their needs change over time.
The DD program offers students with experiential learning opportunities in several program areas, including:

- Sensory Room
- School Grocery Store
- Field Trips
