In 2018, our school was a Platinum-certified Eco School. We continue in 2019 to maintain our status with many eco initiatives, including

• the reduction of energy usage;
• the creation of an indoor growing centre;
• eco-literacy incorporated in the curriculum;
• litter getters to scoop garbage off school grounds;
• waste free lunches and resuable water bottles;
• three bin stations and posters all around the school;
• batteries and marker collection; 
• planting in our community building area;
• sweater day;
• kilometer walk challenge
• golden dustpan award for best recycling class;
• and much more!
