In the middle school years (grades  6, 7, and 8) the Early French Immersion Program is a half day program with 50% of the day in French and 50% of the day in English. Students take French, Math, and Social Studies in French and the rest of their courses in English.

 Broadlands Pathway

The most common pathway for students currently enrolled at Broadlands PS for the French Immersion program is Broadlands (JK to 5) – Windfields (6-8) – York Mills (9-12).  However, please note that the Pathway is dependent upon a child's home address. Due to recent boundary changes, some Broadlands' students may follow different pathways.

Students whose Homeschool would be Fenside, Rene Gordon, or Roywood follow - Don Valley MS (6-8) - York Mills CI (9-12).

Students whose Homeschool would be Gateway, Grenoble or O'Connor follow - DA Morrison MS (6-8) - East York  CI (9-12).
