ALBION HEIGHTS UNIFORM POLICY

We continue to be a fully-uniformed school from grades 1-8 (Kindergarten is optional) At Albion Heights, we believe that appropriate dress is important in the learning environment. A school uniform promotes equality among students and increases safety in the school environment. It also creates a visible school identity. All students in grades 1-8 are expected to come to school in proper uniform daily.

Albion Heights’ Uniform
• White top with the Albion Heights crest (long sleeve or short sleeve shirt, polo/ golf shirt, turtle neck or t-shirt);
• Green vest, green sweater or green sweatshirt with Albion Heights’
crest, worn with a plain white shirt underneath;
• Black pants, worn at the waist (no tight fitting pants,jeans, sweatpants or leggings);
• All pants must be worn to the ankle level, no roll ups or pants tucked into socks;
• No excessively baggy pants are not permitted;
• Running shoes, dress shoes and sandals are permitted. No hightops, heelies or brightly coloured shoes with coloured laces;
• Black skirt or shorts (must be longer than the fingertips);
• Warm weather options include: black walking shorts or skirts.
