LUNCH TIME

Parents and students will be asked to sign a contract, detailing the lunch routines and expectations if students will be staying at school for lunch. . There are occasions when parents need to deliver lunch to their child at school. Please write your child’s name on the lunch bag and leave it at the table outside of the office. . Please remind your child to come down to the office and pick it up. This way, we will minimize interruptions to instructional time.

LATES

Punctuality is a life skill for all our students to learn. From Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8, we expect students to be on time. BEING LATE SHOULD BE AN EXCEPTION, NOT A RULE. A combined effort of the home and the school will be developed to reverse this habit. Students will have to make adjustments to their morning schedules to be on time. Students and parents will be advised of the lates before a letter goes home. If students are late more than 5 times in a term, a letter will be sent home from the school. Consequences will include any of the following: verbal warnings, written letters, detentions and removal from extra-curricular activities. The school doors are locked at 8:30. Parents/students are asked to come through the front doors after 8:30. Students are asked to then get a late slip and proceed to class.
