Cameras On During Remote Synchronous Learning
Students participating in remote synchronous learning through Continuing Education are expected to have their cameras on during instructional time. This requirement supports student engagement, accountability, and helps create a positive and interactive virtual classroom environment. Keeping cameras on allows educators to monitor participation, offer immediate feedback, and build a sense of community that reflects the in-person learning experience. This requirement is in alignment with the Virtual Secondary School protocol.

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) offers students the opportunity to earn a full secondary school credit while expanding their language skills and cultural understanding. This program focuses on a single language credit and is available in both In-Person and Remote (synchronous) formats.

To ensure credits are properly applied toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), registration is exclusively open to current Ontario high school students between the ages of 14 and 18. As this is a secondary credit program, students must meet these specific enrollment and age requirements to be eligible for registration.
