Reach Ahead Credit Program

Important Information

All registrations must be completed online, as on-site registration is not available.

The initial course request you submit is a registration request. You are not officially registered in the Reach Ahead course (TAS1O1) until you submit the Mandatory Parental Permission Form.

This form is included in the body of the email sent to the student after the course request is submitted. To complete the form, please download the document.

The Mandatory Parental Permission Form must be uploaded to the student's e-Reg profile.

Reach Ahead Program Summer School 2025

July 2 to July 25, 2025, from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Reach Ahead Program: Students will attend face-to-face classes with a teacher.

The Reach Ahead Program is available to Grade 8s incoming to Grade 9 TDSB students. Students may register only for the Technology and the Skilled Trades, TAS1O1 Grade 9 open course. Incoming grade 9 students cannot register for other Summer School Secondary Credit courses. Successful completion of this course counts towards the compulsory Technology credit requirement for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

Registration Information:

Registration opens on February 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Registration closes on June 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Grade 8 students who are not affiliated with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and are transitioning into the TDSB system for Grade 9 must complete the Registration Form.
