Time of Year: All Year

Using the forest as an artist’s studio, investigate how the basic elements of art; line, shape and form, space, colour, texture and value, are also found in the world around us. Students will create artworks on site, using only natural materials, drawing on their own experiences and other Earthwork artists’ work for inspiration. As in the tradition of Andy Goldsworthy, the art stays on site, however, EFSC cameras can be used to record the masterpieces. In the afternoon, students will explore other ways to combine art and nature.
