Maple Syrup

Maple Syrup

Time of Year: Late February to Early April

Half Day Program

Venture with us into the sugar bush to take part in this uniquely Canadian activity. This program includes an introduction to native legends associated with the history of "sweet water", tapping trees, and collecting sap. We also will observe First Nations and early settlers’ "boiling down" methods and see small-scale evaporation techniques, and of course the program would not be complete without a taste of maple syrup made right here in our sugar bush!

Unfortunately, the sugar bush is not wheelchair accessible.
