Clubs and Organizations

Opportunities Outside the Classroom

Shape your school experience and make a difference! Our diverse clubs and student organizations offer countless ways to get involved, explore your interests, and build lasting connections. Discover existing groups at our annual "Club Fair" or even launch your own with a staff sponsor. Leadership opportunities are also available for dedicated students who apply. (Full-time student status required for executive roles).

Prefects

Become a driving force in our school! Our Prefects are dynamic student leaders who provide crucial support to staff and administration, acting as key representatives of the student body. They also play a vital role in mentoring our Grade 9 students, helping them navigate their first year. These prestigious positions are selected by teachers and administration each spring for the following year. (Full-time student status required for the entire Prefect term).

Student Council

Your school, your say! Get involved with the Student Council! Elected by you, this energetic executive (Co-Presidents, Senior & Junior VPs, Secretary/Social Media, Treasurer, Social, and Sports Reps) is dedicated to making Forest Hill the best it can be. Elections kick off in May – grab the Constitution and throw your hat in the ring! (Executive members need full-time student status). Be a vital part of our community – support the Council and bring your awesome ideas for new activities to the table!

Major Clubs and Student Organizations

Athletic Council          Music Directorite       Prodcution Crew

In a regular school year, these clubs are actively involved in everyday life at Forest Hill.  Separate applications are completed in the spring of the previous school year. All executive members must be full time students, i.e. 4 classes in grades 9 through 11 and 3 classes in grade 12 each semester, at Forest Hill.  New students are welcome to join the organization each year.

Clubs and Student Organizations

Students may start a new club by obtaining a staff sponsor and submitting a club charter application form. “Club Fair” provides students an opportunity to join clubs and groups. These are some of the many clubs that have run at the school. If you do not see something that you are interested in, you can start your own club!
