Open House
Join us on Saturday, June 13th at the Toronto Islands as we welcome Spring! The Island Natural Science School will be hosting a public open-house in their garden and greenhouse spaces. Friends of all ages are encouraged to come and try different green themed activities including; making seed tape, quick pickling vegetables, and planting. Students will be hosting a tour, plant sale, and lemonade stand. Our open house runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. If you would like to enjoy our “walking school bus”, simply meet at the Centre Island fountain at 9:30 AM for a guided walking tour to the school.
In an effort to make this event accessible to all, please contact our site supervisor [email protected] for more information on mobility aids or help with ferry tickets. Limited tickets are available for children and adults.
