Parents are encouraged to participate and come to the School Council meetings. School Councils are an excellent way for you to get involved in your child’s education, and is an important forum for involving parents/family and community in matters that affect the education of students.

School Council Innovation Grant

The 2025-2026 School Council Innovation Grant (SCIG) is now open for applications, with a deadline of November 28, 2025. Virtual information sessions will be held on the following dates:

Thursday, October 16, 2025 – 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 30, 2025 – 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, November 13, 2025 – 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

School Councils are encouraged to reach out to the Principal to confirm the school’s eligibility for this year’s grant. Principals have previously been informed if the school does not meet the eligibility criteria.
