According to EQAO, the Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics tests the math skills students are expected to have learned by the end of Grade 9. Different versions of the test are administered in the academic and the applied math courses.

Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT)
The purpose of the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) is to determine whether students have acquired the literacy (reading and writing) skills that they are expected to have learned by the end of Grade 9, as outlined in the Ontario curriculum. Each year students are required to write the OSSLT. All students must pass this test with a minimum mark of 70% in order to graduate from high school. Students write this test for the first time in Grade 10.
