Time of Year: Late February to Early April
This uniquely Canadian activity has a very short season because it is dependent on weather conditions. In this activity, students will have an opportunity to tap trees, collect sap, observe First Nations and early settlers’ "boiling down" methods and see small-scale evaporation techniques. They will also get an opportunity to taste maple syrup made on site, from the previous year! All participants need to wear boots for this activity. Unfortunately, the Maple Syrup Bush is not wheelchair accessible.
