Math

Students are learning to use different learning tools and strategies (hand-on, charts, diagrams, graphs and technology) to study a problem, think of a solution to solve it.

Language

Reading:
Students are learning to read and explain their understanding of different forms of texts like fiction and non-fiction by using strategies e.g., inferring, visualizing, making connections to create meaning.

Writing

Students are learning to create, collect, and arrange their thoughts and ideas with a specific audience in mind. They are reviewing their work using various sources e.g., self and peer editing and descriptive feedback from the teacher.

Students get opportunities to answer questions and voice their own personal thoughts and ideas. This helps each student gain confidence in their oral skills and enables them to respect and value the views of others.
