Welcome to ESL!

In the ESL program:

• students gain the ability to use English at school to help them achieve academic success
• students learn to develop spoken and written English

How to help your child:

• communicate with your child`s teacher about his or her progress
• attend Parent-Teacher Interviews
• be patient and supportive; it takes time to learn a new language
• give your child many opportunities to use English outside of school (e.g., at the store, going on the bus, visiting the library, etc.)
