monday, january 5, 2026 - online applications are open.
friday, january 30, 2026 - online applications are closed at 4:00 pm.
applications will not be accepted after the deadline.
thursday, february 19, 2026 - placement offers 1, will be sent at the end of the school day.
tuesday, february 24, 2026 - offers must be accepted or declined by 4:00 pm. if you do not accept or decline the offer of placement on or before the february 24 deadline, the offer will be automatically declined. the student will attend their designated school by home address.
wednesday, february 25, 2026 - placement offers 2, will be made where seats are available and will be sent at the end of the school day.
tuesday, march 3, 2026 - offers must be accepted or declined by 4:00 pm. if you do not accept or decline the offer of placement on or before the march 3 deadline, the offer will be automatically declined. the student will attend their designated school by home address.
mid-june 2026 - final offers will be made where seats are available.
waitlists expire after the final offers are made in mid-june 2026.

step 1: learn about city view
city view's annual open house will take place on tba at the school, which is located on the 3rd floor of the shirley street/ city view school building,(38 shirley street). the evening will be comprised of student-led tours of our learning space and a teacher-led presentation. in advance, you can learn all about our amazing program by exploring this website!
step 2: complete your application
the admission process to city view for the 2026/27 school year is centralized with online applications being handled directly through the tdsb website. an elementary central online application process website for parents/ guardians/ caregivers was developed to assist applicants, which is updated regularly.
the online application form opens on monday, january 5, 2026
friday, january 30, 2026, at 4:00 pm and will not be open after that point.
step 3: offers of admission
the offers of admission are sent out in two rounds.
round 1:
