THE CITY VIEW 2025 / 2026 APPLICATION PROCESS WILL BEGIN IN THE NEW YEAR

Step 1: Learn About City View

City View's annual Open House will take place on Thursday, January 9 at 6:30PM  at the school, which is located on the 3rd Floor of the Shirley Street/ City View school building,(38 Shirley Street). The evening will be comprised of student-led tours of our learning space and a teacher-led presentation.  In advance, you can learn all about our amazing program by exploring this website! 

Step 2: Complete Your Application

The admission process to City View for the 2025/26 school year is being centralized with online applications being handled directly through the TDSB website. An Elementary Central Online Application Frequently Asked Questions for Parents/ Guardians/ Caregivers document was developed to assist applicants, which will be updated regularly. View the document.

Submit an Elementary Alternative Schools Online Application Form -  (Available on Monday, January 16th at 4:00pm.)

The Online application form opens on January 16 at 4PM and closes on February 10, 2023 at 4 P.M.

Step 3: Offers of Admission

The Offers of Admission are sent out in two rounds. During the first round, families will be informed of the status of the application on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Families must confirm acceptance of the offer by Tuesday, March 21 at 4 p.m. The second round of offers begins on Wednesday March 22, 2023. Families must confirm acceptance of this offer by Tuesday, March 28 at 4 p.m.
