Special Events and Trips

White Ribbon Outreach: At the end of November, we remember the Montreal Massacre and work to end violence against women. We set up information centers at fourteen street corners around Toronto to represent the fourteen women who lost their lives at École Polytechnique.  We hand out flyers, made by students in media studies class, and raise money to support women's shelters.

Winterfeast: In December, we organize our annual seasonal celebration called Winterfeast! This concert showcases our talent and is a chance for City View families to enjoy a delicious pot luck meal together to help start the festive season. At Winterfeast our families enjoy a wonderful evening of dance, music, choir singing, skits and much more.

Drama Night: Drama Night happens in May. It is the culmination of a week of drama activities, practice and preparation. On Drama Night, presentations written and created by City View students are performed. It is a school wide event and every student has a role in the productions. We also invite our incoming Grade 7s to attend in order to meet students and get a taste of the great programming we have. Drama Week Gallery
