City View Alum Wins "Top Writer" for Drama Week Play
University of Sudbury Writing Contest Celebrates Indigenous Youth
City View alum Ruby Sage-Wolfe (2017-18) wins Top Writer for her City View Drama Week Play, The Wings that Define Us. Ruby wrote her play in Language Arts class in grade 7 at City View. The play, an exploration of the impact of residential schools on indigenous communities, inspired by her grandmother's experience, was produced at Drama Week that year. She then put it in the University of Sudbury Writing Contest for Indigenous Youth and won! Congratulations Ruby!
