Student Life

Clubs and Councils

There are so many camps, clubs, and extracurricular activities provided by the staff and community partners at C.W.J.! We encourage all students to find one or more activities to help them meet new friends and develop new skills.

Club and Council Connections

Throughout the school year, the Student Administrative Council (S.A.C.) sponsors many activities which add to the enjoyment of school life and help to create personal and community fulfilment! If there is an activity that you would like to see at school, reach out to S.A.C. and let them know! You can connect with the Council on Instagram by clicking on the icon.

DB8 Club

Provides the opportunity for students to interact and socialize through debates on popular topics and current events. The discourses and debates in this club will be structured, respectful and engaging. DB8 Club wants to provide an inclusive, safe space where students can collaborate on a team, enhance their vocabulary, gain confidence with public speaking, make meaningful friendships, and develop critical reasoning and researching skills.

We meet on Mondays from 3:30 - 4:30 pm.

IMPACT

(formerly SMILE) is a dedicated team of students who strive to promote inclusivity, leadership, and the empowerment of student voices at CW Jefferys. We are committed to unleashing the inner leaders within our amazing student community.
We meet on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 pm.

Jack

Jack Chapters are groups of young people at high schools, colleges, universities, and other settings who work year-round to identify and break down barriers to positive mental health, and make concrete change in their communities across Canada.

Newcomers Club
