Community Involvement/ Volunteer Hours Form

Community Involvement - 40 Hours Are Required for Graduation!

 

Steps

  1. Find a volunteer placement ideally at a not-for-profit organization
  2. Email your guidance counsellor to GET APPROVAL (Not needed for Volunteering at Northern) if you are unsure that your volunteer opportunity is eligible.
  3. Complete the Volunteer hour form and have your supervisor sign and give their contact information.
  4. Submit your completed  hard copy form to your alpha guidance counsellor in person.
  5. Your guidance counsellor will enter your hours.

 

Remember:  Hard copy of the forms are available in our guidance office.

Earn a Certificate of Recognition for Community Involvement when you graduate. This certificate celebrates your dedication to helping others and for completing more than 50 volunteer hours during high school.

Bronze: 50 to 99 volunteer hours

Silver: 100 to 199 volunteer hours

Gold: 200+ volunteer hours
