Greetings Northern Families,

Semester 2 English classes will write during semester 2. More details coming next week as we try to add the timeslots to our calendar.

A reminder (email went out earlier today) about parent/ guardian - teacher interviews is below- please review it and note when the booking portal opens.

We have received reports of large student gatherings after school hours in midtown that have resulted in vandalism and other destructive behaviour. Please know that these are NOT school sanctioned events and are drawing the eye of Toronto Police Services. Chat with your child(ren) about personal safety and caring for our community. If a student has any concerns about an event that has occurred, please have them inform the VP office.

You will see the addition of a Credit Rescue Day to the schedule below. This has been moved from the end of the semester to mid-semester. This allows for Credit Rescue intervention for Week 1 and Week 2 classes leading up to the reporting period (Report Cards Distributed November 19th). Students requiring Credit Rescue intervention will come to the school (or join online if Virtual Learners) to work with their teachers. All other students will need to check in remotely for attendance taking purposes- details to come next week.
