TORONTO – The Ryerson Rams women’s hockey team is pleased to announce the signing of their second recruit for the 2015-16 season in Laura Ball from East York Collegiate Institute.

Ball, a defenceman from Toronto, has played for the East York Athenas as well as the Toronto Aeros in the Provincial Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) for the past two seasons

“Laura is an ultimate competitor on the ice, bringing a very high level of compete and toughness regardless if it is a game or a practice,” says Ryerson head coach Lisa Haley. “Although she may look small physically, she plays the game at a much bigger size. We expect that her fearless style of play, coupled with her strong skating and puck skills will make her a top defender in the OUA right away.”
Best of Luck Laura!!!
