Principal's Message

Welcome to East York Collegiate Institute!  EYCI prides itself as a community which fosters equity, inclusion, mental health and well-being.  We are committed to ensuring all students feel welcomed, while being provided enriched opportunities to succeed in a post secondary environment.    

Students can choose from a wide range of academic programs ranging from Mathematics, English, History, Geography & Social Sciences, Science, Technology, Tech Design, Construction, Music, Drama, Dance, Visual Arts, Athletics, Business, Cooperative Education, Core French, French Immersion, Athletics and much more. 

At East York we believe that a well-rounded education is the key to success. Students are provided many opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom to develop their curricular knowledge and personal growth. Extracurriculars are an important part of the EYCI experience.  A  wide variety of sports, clubs and councils are provided to ensure each students’ experience is enriched.   At EYCI, no matter what you are interested in, you will find something right for you. 

Safety and respect for one another is at the core of everything we do. Our teachers, staff and administrative team are here to serve you, so please reach out if you have any questions or are in need. When we work together there is nothing we cannot achieve!
