First Nations Plants

This program is rooted in Indigenous Culture but could be interpreted as spiritual and therefore can come into conflict with diverse belief systems.

Framing Question

How do the First Nations People use the plants at Forest Valley to thrive?

Learning Goal
If students experience how the Anishinaabe used plants to thrive, then they will develop a deeper appreciation of First Nations culture and of the importance of taking care of plants and their habitats.
