TDSB Employee Services
Prior to your official start date, Employee Services requires you to go through a mandatory in-person documentation session as well as ordering a Vulnerable Persons Police Records Check. They will email you information and instructions about how and when to order your police check and participate in the session. You MUST attend the Documentation session or you will not be allowed to start work or be on property.
We recommend you keep a copy of the Police Records Check along with all other completed forms related to your documentation.
NOTE: If you do not receive information about this process at least 6 weeks ahead of time, please contact the Forest Valley Site Supervisor.
TDSB Pay: As a non-permanent employee your pay will be held for the first two weeks. Expect to receive your first pay cheque after one month of work with us. In terms of the wage structure, including 7.4% in lieu of stats and vacation, it is as follows: $16.21/hour for your first term in the department, a second term will be at $17.02, and a third and subsequent term will be $17.82.
