We are considered a Toronto District School Board school site and staff dress casually professional – that is, no torn jeans, yoga pants, beer slogan t-shirts etc. At the same time, your day is successful if there’s dirt under your fingernails so casual is fine. Forest Valley will loan you windpants, a coat and a fleece vest during your placement. All footwear (e.g., boots, hiking boots or running shoes) and other warm clothing is your responsibility.

Please note that it is important to model and practice sun safety and hats should be worn in the spring and fall.
