Principal's Message

Welcome to Parkdale CI!!

As one of the oldest high schools in the Toronto District School Board, celebrating close to 130 years, Parkdale has rich traditions and a stong reputation in academics, athletics, co-curricular and leadership opportunities and community service. Our distinguished history, reflected in alumni who have succeeded in politics, academica, athletics, and the arts, paves the way for our present and our future. Our programming is continually evolving to meet the needs and interests of our students in our changing community. Our diversity is our strength, and it is reflected in the opportunities provided to our students. We proudly welcome all students and support them as they grow and develop into successful and conscientious global citizens.

Parkdale is characterized, among other practices, by our tradition of and serving our community and reflecting its diversity. Our students and staff continue to earn wide-spread recognition for advocacy and service initiatives, and for all their work with community partners. As our Mission Statement says, our partnerships in our academic and co-curricular programs connect Parkdale students to the community and prepare them for their futures in a changing world.

This website contains important information about our school policies, programs, services, activities and more. Please access the school calendar and our brand-new school app (My School Day) to see all of the activities and opportunities we have planned for this school year and in the coming years. We look forward to working together with our students and their families throughout the year!
