The guidance and career education program plays a central role in secondary school by providing students with the tools they need for success in school, in the workplace, and in their daily lives.

Ontario Curriculum, 2006
All students require support from teachers, classmates, family, and friends in order to thrive and to gain full benefit from their school experience. Some students have special needs that require supports beyond those ordinarily received in the school setting. At Richview, a team approach supports the unique needs of students who are identified as exceptional and/or have Individual Education Plans.
