Get a Fresh Start with a New Password

September 2, 2014

If you're a TDSB student and you're having difficulty logging into the e-Reg online course request system or into the D2L Learning Environment, make sure you create a new TDSB computer network password. Your old password from last year won't work.

Any teacher or administrator can help you reset your TDSB computer network password. We hope you have a great start to the new school year!

e-Learning Day School 2014-15

August 21, 2014

If you are a senior TDSB secondary school student and you'd like to take an e-Learning course as one of your scheduled courses this school year, check out the available courses and registration information on our website.

Take the Is e-Learning Right For Me? quiz to see if an online course fits your learning style.

You can log into e-Reg with your TDSB student number and computer network password any time to make a course request, but then make sure you follow up and complete all 3 steps of the registration process.

It's really important that you visit your school Guidance Counsellor to discuss your course options and receive authorization to take an e-Learning Day School course. You aren't enrolled until your Guidance Counsellor approves your course request.

Please read the orientation, starting your course and exam web pages for important details.

Overview of Programs

e-Summer School
Our popular summer online program is offered in two sessions during June/July and July/August. This program is open to secondary school students aged 14-21 from across Ontario.

e-Credit (18+)
Residents of Ontario who are not currently attending a publicly funded high school and who are 18 years of age or older have the opportunity to complete credits they need for graduation online. We've opened a summer session of e-Credit for adults who want to learn online in the summer.

e-Learning Day School
This program is for students currently attending a TDSB high school. e-Learning courses are part of the student's day school timetable and must be approved by their guidance counsellor.

Benefits of Online Learning

It's all about expanding choice and opportunity. TDSB e-Learning provides students with learning experiences that are:

  • flexible: students can learn anytime, anywhere
  • relevant: students prepare for their future in an increasingly digital world
