Come and meet your e-Learning teacher!
In order to complete enrollment in a TDSB e-Learning Day School course, students are required to virtually attend an online orientation (available for all courses). During this online "meet the teacher" session you'll find out all about your course, see demos of the online classroom and much more!
Note: If you are not able to virtually attend the online orientation on the date listed below, please notify your teacher directly via email as soon as possible or on the first day of class, and make a request for a make up time and options. You do not have to drop the course if you missed the orientation, however it will need to be made up in your online classroom. Do not notify
eLearning@tdsb.on.ca before the missed orientation, just notify your teacher directly.
Online Orientation
Each orientation session takes about 45 minutes and is held online.
Semester 2 - 2023/2024 Orientation
Date: Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
Time: Please check the Announcement widget in your Brightspace course page on the orientation date to confirm your orientation time. Unless otherwise stated in your course announcement page on orientation day, you will attend orientation at 6:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. Your teacher will post an announcement with the time of your specific orientation on the Brightspace class home page.
Location: Online orientation is conducted via a virtual meeting. You can attend Orientation from home or any location with access to a device and Internet. The virtual meeting link or instructions on how to access orientation will be posted on your Brightspace online classroom.
