Get Ready...

On the first day of class between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. you'll receive two emails telling you that you have been enrolled in:
1) an "Introduction to the Online Classroom" module
2) your e-Learning Day School course

Login to the D2L Learning Environment using your TDSB student number and your computer network password.

Password Reset

Can't login? Ask any teacher or administrator at your school to reset your TDSB computer network password.

e-Learning and Blended Learning students who are having difficulty logging into their online classroom (D2L) should have their TDSB network password reset at school ASAP. Any teacher can reset your password to your student shared secret password.

Once your password has been reset, login to a TDSB computer and you will be prompted to create a new password. Then you will be able to login to D2L again from anywhere, at anytime. So if you're having trouble logging in to D2L, don't panic. Just ask a teacher at your school to help you with creating a new TDSB network password. Oh, and ask nicely. It can't hurt.

Get Set...

Click on the Introduction to the Online Classroom link on your D2L My Home page and complete all of the activities.

This is not your actual course, it's just a handy introduction to the D2L Learning Environment. You'll learn how to drop of assignments, participate in discussions and much more.

You should also take a few minutes to review this Desire2Learn Quick Tour.

On your My Home page you'll see a link for your course, for example: EMS3OE-10 2013-14 Sem1 Media - Smith in the My Courses widget. Or you can access your course from the Select a course... drop down menu.

Either way, click on your course to get to class to see the information that your teacher has posted to get you started. Good luck!
