Get Set...

Several days before the start of the semester, enrolled students will receive access to the TDSB online learning software (it's called Desire2Learn or D2L for short). Watch out for an email from tdsb@elearningontario.ca with the following two pieces of information:
  • your username
  • a link that takes you to a password setup page
Click the link to create your new password right away and record your D2L username and password in a safe place. If you don't get this login info email check your email "junk" folder in case your email provider treated it as spam. No email? Login to e-Reg and check your Student Profile to see if the email you're checking is the same one you used when registered to take your e-Learning course. Still having problems? Contact us at: elearning@tdsb.on.ca

Once you're logged into D2L, click on the "Introduction to the Online Classroom" link and go through the content and activities to familiarize yourself with how things work. This isn't your actual course, it's just an intro tutorial so you'll be relaxed and confident when you start your e-Learning course.

Go!

Several days before the start of the semester you will receive an email from tdsb@elearningontario.ca telling you that you've been enrolled in your course.

Then when you login to D2L and land on your My Home page you'll see a link for your course, for example: EMS3OE-10 2013-14 Sem1 Media - Smith in the My Courses widget.

Click on this new course link 'cause it's time to get to class!
