WOMEN’S FITNESS (PAF3OF)

1 Credit / 2 Hrs Daily

This course will provide students the opportunity to increase their knowledge and level of fitness through circuit training, including weight lifting, cardiovascular, flexibility and core exercises. Students will be exposed to a wide variety of exercises and proper techniques to target various body parts. Students will also be introduced to health components including: what is muscle strength, endurance, agility, etc. Students will also be introduced to proper nutrition and overall healthy lifestyle living.

MEN’S FITNESS (PPL2/3O1)

1 Credit / 2 Hrs Daily

This course focuses on the development of a healthy lifestyle and participation in a variety of enjoyable physical activities that have the potential to engage students’ interest throughout their lives. Students will be encouraged to develop personal competence in a variety of movement skills and will be given opportunities to practice goal-setting, decision-making, social, and interpersonal skills. Students will also study the components of healthy relationships, reproductive health, mental health, and personal safety.
