Proctored Exam

If you are applying for proctored exam, please read carefully following instructions.

If you know you will be unable to attend a face-to-face e-Summer School final exam you must complete and submit the forms below by July 19th, 2019 for the July session courses or August 9th, 2019 for the July/August session courses to nominate a proctor for your exam. Please note that the rationale for not attending the face to face e-Summer School final exam must be legitimate (for example, if the student is travelling outside the country during the scheduled exam time) and permission will only be granted after it is reviewed by the e-Summer School office.  It is a good idea to let your teacher know, and arrange for proctoring, well ahead of the form submission deadline. Note that when exams are proctored, they are still written simultaneously with the students in Toronto (we will look at time zones and coordinate the exam time with your proctor).

A proctor is the person who supervises your exam. [proctor (n.) someone who supervises (an examination) Synonyms: supervisor, monitor, invigilator].  The proctored exam will occur at the SAME time as the scheduled e-Summer exam. Your proctor cannot be a family member and must be employed by an organization that can provide an institutional seal, business card or letterhead. You are responsible for finding your own proctor, review the proctor nomination form (below) to be sure your proctor meets our criteria.

For clear instructions on proctor protocol and who can be a proctor, please download and read very carefully the Proctor Nomination Form below. This Proctor process requires 2 parts.
