The goal of the curriculum is to further develop functional life skills in order for students with developmental disabilities to participate to the fullest extent possible within the school, home and community. Students will gain the skills necessary to move towards and onto a new life stage including increasing independence and autonomy, satisfying vocational pursuits, community living opportunities and increasing social networks and supports. The program takes into consideration students' unique abilities, interests and needs in order to develop appropriate and achievable program goals.
