Dear Students, Parents and Caregivers,

As the proud principal of George S. Henry Academy, I welcome you to the GSHA family.  At Henry, we set high expectations for student learning for all and we work towards creating dynamic and innovative classroom teaching to engage our learners.  Our school motto is "Studere est Excellere" - To Strive is to Excel. Our staff and students demonstrate our motto through their commitment to academics and co-curricular activities, while building a community where we respect, care for, and show empathy towards one another.

At George S Henry, we are proud to offer three Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs in Environmental, Health & Wellness and Hospitality and Tourism.  These programs equip students with sector-specifc and career-related skills in these areas.  Henry is also proud to offer A+ STEM program which is designed for students interested in science, technology, engineering and math.  I encourage you to explore our website to find out about our many unique programs our school has to offer.

Our school also provides many opportunities for students to get involved outside of the classroom, from volunteer and leadership opportunities to sports, clubs and co-curriculars.  Your high school experience is what you make of it and I encourage each and every student to get involved.
