Through investigating a field, forest or aquatic ecosystem, students inquire about, observe, compare and identify the varied flora and fauna up close! Students will explore the importance of biodiversity within a community and what the benefits are to humans while considering the interrelationships of living organisms.

Students will have many opportunities to get "up close and personal" with nature, hopefully gaining some respect and empathy for all living things in our world.
