Grades 4 - 6: Unearthing Art in your Yard: This program is designed to be adapted to meet curriculum requirements in a number of grades. Using nature and schoolyard or local green space as our canvas, students will explore and learn about the various elements of art, such as line, shape, texture and colour while observing, exploring and investigating the natural environment.

Grade 4: Habitats and Communities in your Local Greenspace: Plants and Animals are interdependent! Explorers discover how/why through exploring habitats in your schoolyard or local greenspace. It may also include a game of predator prey.

Grade 6: BioDiversity in your Community; it's a great thing: Through investigating your schoolyard or local greenspace, students inquire about, observe, compare and identify the varied flora and fauna up close! Students will explore the importance of biodiversity within a community and what the benefits are to humans while considering the interrelationships of living organisms.
