Rouge Habitats and Communities

Deer Print in the SnowWalking the trails located near Hillside will provide students with the opportunity to explore and investigate different habitats and communities of plants, birds, insects and animals. Students will focus on ways in which plants and animals that live in a community depend on features of their habitat to meet their needs for survival.

The day will continue with students further exploring some of these concepts either with some Simulation Games, a hike in another area, a detailed investigation of a specific habitat or some environmental restoration projects.
