Registration

For students who live in the Jarvis CI catchment area and would like to register, please use the Online Registration by completing the Registration Form prior to visiting the school. The school will follow up with you to book a registration appointment.

Out of Area Admissions

Out-of-Area Admissions (OOA) – Online applications for elementary and secondary Out-of-Area Admissions open on January 5, 2026. This is the process whereby students can apply to attend a school outside of the school designated to serve their home address. Acceptance is subject to space availability and transportation is the responsibility of the applicant. The Secondary application deadline is January 23, 2026 at 4 p.m.  

Jarvis' Out-of Area Admissions status for 2026/27 is Limited. This means that all students outside the catchment area may apply for Out-of-Area Admissions. The school may admit students from all of the priorities, as space is available.

Secondary Schools Without A Boundary

Secondary Schools Without a Boundary (SSWAB) – The legacy technical and commercial boundaries for five TDSB schools have been dissolved to expand access to all students. 

The Secondary Schools without a Boundary are:

  • Central Technical School
  • Central Toronto Academy
  • Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute
  • Western Technical-Commercial School
  • Northern Secondary School*

* Students wishing to attend Northern Secondary School who do not live within the Collegiate boundary for that school must apply through this process to attend Northern Secondary School.

The application for September 2026 opens on January 5, 2026 and the deadline to apply is January 23, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

Transcript Requests

Transcripts are available for students who are currently attending Jarvis, or within the 12 months of their graduation if Jarvis is the last school of record. All other transcript requests need to go to the Central Transcript Office.
