Get Involved

All parents, guardians, caregivers, and well-wishers in our Jarvis family are welcome to participate in making a difference in our children’s education, charting the course for an electric future and quality of life.

The Council meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM in the staff room while the library is under construction.

Jarvis Collegiate School (Parent) Council

School Council parent involvement is key to student success. Participating in the Jarvis Parent Council is an excellent way for parents to get involved in their child’s education. Our school has an elected school council that is an important forum for involving all members of the school community in issues that affect the education of students.

The school council is made up of an elected committee of parents, staff, the principal, and a general membership which includes all parents of children attending the school. The school council advises the principal on a variety of issues and activities relating to student achievement, curriculum goals and priorities, school budget priorities, school safety, renovation plans, and after school activities to name a few.

Join us on the following dates for general parent council meetings at 6:00 PM in the staff room. All families are welcome. Minutes from the meetings will be linked when they become available.
