MGCI Grade 9 student Joshua Zhuang has won The CBC 2022 First Page student writing challenge in the Grades 7-9 category!

The First Page student writing challenge, is a national writing competition for students in Grades 7 to 12. Students are asked to write the first page of a novel set 150 years in the future. Over 1,800 entries were submitted from students all across Canada!

A huge congratulations goes out to Joshua! Thank you to all the teachers who encouraged and supported this initiative.
