Starting the 2020-2021 school year.

The start of the school year is fast approaching and we would like to provide some information to clarify how and when students will attend the in person classes at MGCI.

Please review your childs’ timetable and the explanations at Reading your timetable MGCI.

Your child will enter based on what floor his/her/their class is on. Please have your child review the information at:MGCI entry and Exit Points list

Your child (or you) will have to complete a COVID-19 self-assessment every day.

The online self assessment tool (Now Mobile ) requires the student number and student password. See the information at #3 below.

Contacting MGCI

MGCI staff members are available to answer questions and concerns that you may have.

If you have questions about particular classes, please contact the classroom teacher. Email is the best method at this time and will usually result in a shorter response time. Email addresses of all our teachers are on our website (https://schoolweb.tdsb.on.ca/marcgarneau/Staff/Departments)

If, however, you do not have access to email, messages for particular teachers may be left in the MGCI general mailbox at 416-396-2414, ext. 20000. Please ensure that you clearly state the full name of the teacher that you are looking for as well as your full name and phone number (If you know the extension number, messages may also be left at the appropriate department extension).

For any other questions or concerns, or if you are not sure how to contact the appropriate person, please feel free to contact the MGCI Administration who will be happy to assist you in any way that they can.

If students and/or Parent/Guardian must make an appointment to meet with an administrator/guidance or office staff they MUST call at 416-396-2414, ext. 20000 to make an appointment. Thank you for understanding.
