Monthly Merit Award Winners

At Milliken, we recognize students who have demonstrated excellent citizenship and academic achievement at our monthly Merit Award Assemblies. Students and staff at Milliken focus their attention on one character attribute each month as part of the TDSB’s “Build Character, Build Success” program. Merit Award Assemblies are held on the Spirit Day for each month, and this gives students an opportunity to show their school spirit while celebrating the success of their peers.

All of the positive character attributes chosen by the TDSB, are reflected in our daily lives throughout the year.

To assist in framing discussions, events, and initiatives, starting in September, each month will have a theme reflecting one of the attributes.
