New student registration

 

Quad 1 registration information if you are a new student...


You have never studied with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and you are at least 21 years old.  You must come to SCAS and write our in-person English and math assessments

 

(If you studied with another Ontario school board, please bring your transcript to school on one of the dates below.  You may or may not need to write our assessments, and we will determine that after reviewing your Ontario transcript)

 

We have 3 in-person assessment dates at our school.  Please pick ONE date and come to SCAS:

- Tuesday, August 27 - 9 am start
 - Wednesday, August 28 - 9 am start
- Thursday, August 29 - 9 am start

 

- You do not need to register for our assessments...just come to SCAS at one of the days/times above
- Please do not be late.  You will not be able to be assessed if you are late
- We do not have child care services.  You will be at SCAS until approximately 11:30 am, so please do not bring children

WHAT YOU NEED TO REGISTER AS A NEW STUDENT - At  least one document must be photo ID

1. Proof of status in Canada - One of:
- Canadian passport or citizenship card or birth certificate
- Permanent resident card
- Refugee protection claimant document WITH either study permit or work permit

2. Proof of current address - ONE of:
- Lease or rental agreement
- Property tax bill
- Utility bill (internet, phone, hydro)

3. Previous education documents:
- Ontario transcript, if you have previously studied in an Ontario secondary school
- Transcripts from outside of Ontario

 

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EVERYONE...

Quad 1 starts on September 5 and ends on November 8, 2024

- Period 1 - 8:25 to 10:25am
 - Period 2 - 10:35am to 12:35pm
Period 3 - 1:15 to 3:15pm

ALL CLASSES TAKE PLACE MONDAY TO FRIDAY - YOU MUST ATTEND YOUR CLASS EVERY DAY 

 

$20 Student Activity Fee must be paid before you can receive your timetable
(The breakdown is as follows: student ID, celebrations and special events)
